WHAT
IS THE NASHVILLE CENTER FOR FAITH & CULTURE (NCFC)?
The NCFC is a L'Abri style residential study center that is being
planted in the Nashville, TN area and will open in late fall of
2007 or early spring of 2008.
WHAT IS A STUDY CENTER?
The study center will be a home or a group of homes located geographically
close to one another (in a rural setting in the Nashville, TN
area). It will be a place in which both Christian and non-Christian
guests from the area, region, country, and from all over the world
can come to live for a time, ask questions, discuss issues, and
study in a distinctively community/family based context. The goal
of the center will be to create a safe environment of unhurried
(yet not unlimited) time where guests can feel free to ask and
seek honest answers to any and all of their honest questions concerning
life, the world, and God.

WHAT IS A STUDY CENTER NOT?
A Study Center Is Not The Church: In developing our vision for
a study center we believe that it is very important to make it
clear that the center is not, nor will it ever seek to be the
church. It is in no way our desire, nor is it our intent to compete
with or provide some kind of alternative to the church. Every
staff member and helper at the center will be required to join
and be involved in a local church.

WHY NASHVILLE?
The question of location is a very important issue for any new
ministry. Therefore, it is important for us to seek to answer
the question of why we that Nashville is a good location for our
residential study center. The truth is that we do not believe
that Nashville is the only place a ministry such as this could
be effective. We’re sure that there are many cities and
communities around the world where a study center would be very
successful and beneficial.
